Answers to your common questions
For more information and answers to your questions please see Tenant Criteria for Applicants and Tenant Information.
Can you hold a place before I apply?
No, we can’t hold a property until you have submitted an application, been approved, and paid your deposit.
How do I pay rent?
You can either mail a check to our office, or pay online.
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Consult with your account manager - many of our properties have strict “no pet” policies.
Should your property owner allow pets, there is a 35 pound weight limit and certain aggressive breeds are not allowed. If approved, you will be given a pet agreement and must pay a pet deposit. Proof of vaccines and a picture of your pet are required. Obtaining a pet without permission is a violation of your lease and there are severe consequences.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, within 30 days of your turning in keys, a full accounting of your deposit along with any refund due will be sent out.
My brother is going on vacation and wants me to watch his pet. Is this ok?
No. You are not allowed to have any pets on the property without a pet agreement and deposit. Having a pet on your property - even on a temporary basis - is a violation of your lease and penalties will be assessed.
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Submit a written notification 30 days prior to the end of your lease. See tenant “resources and tools” for the form.
Who needs a cosigner?
If you don’t have: two years employment, two years good credit, two years rental, and income equal to four times the rent, you may need a cosigner and/or an additional deposit.
